SUKKUR: Opposition Leader Syed Khursheed Shah Sunday said that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) failed to lock down Islamabad then this would strengthen Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking to newsmen here, the opposition leader said decisions should be made in Parliament, not in streets. “If decisions would be made in streets, then Maulana Fazlur Rahman may also topple the government by gathering 2 lac masses,” he added.
“Although, PTI has given a call to shut down the federal capital, but if they failed to do then this would strengthen the government and Nawaz Sharif,” he apprehended.
In an apparent hit at the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, Khursheed Shah asserted that a (political) party was afraid of the political activities of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
“Bilawal came to the assembly, called on different leaders. Since the beginning of this activity, a party is afraid that the PPP is coming out,” he said. “The PPP is up for regaining our space, which we had snatched from it.”
