CM Murad denies rigging claims in Malir elections

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Friday that MQM’s reservations were not right and that this time, no one had been allowed to ‘stamp’ votes in the Malir elections. 

Murad issued the following statements while speaking to media personnel after the T20 match which was played between the Chief Minister’s team and the provincial sports minister’s team. Murad Ali Shah’s team defeated the opposing team by 3 wickets.

The match, which was held to pay tribute to renowned philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi and the soldiers of Pakistan army who laid down their lives for the country, was played between Edhi Green (led by Murad Ali Shah) and Edhi White (led by the sports minister).
